Riva-La-Vista-Cooktown Hotel

Staying at Riva-La-Vista was a lovely experience. The stunning harbour views and clean, spacious rooms made it enjoyable, though the upstairs noise and stiff sheets were minor drawbacks. Terri and Ric were welcoming hosts, and the shared facilities were great. Definitely looking forward to coming back for more adventures.

The rooms were large and airy, especially those with a wonderful view and private bathrooms and a large window. The location was excellent and stunning, on the hill, convenient to go everywhere. And it was also right by find a number of places to get a good feed and a hillside.

It was relaxing 2 days, will choose it for sure for next trip...

I booked this place for a day and had a wonderful experience; it's conveniently located near the center, on a peaceful hill, and close to great restaurants, plus the nearby cafe offered some delicious treats and drinks. We had a fantastic one-night stay in a modern unit with a stunning view, especially from the bathroom. The unit was new-fashioned and offered a glorious view.

loved a microwave, air conditioning, and an iron in the room. the hotel was in an excellant location close to a river and a hill. distance to the airport was just 0.5 km.

Overall it was well-appointed with comfortable bed...

I was amazed by the fine view overlooking the river from my spacious ensuite room. The shared kitchen/living area was well-equipped, and the peaceful location was perfect for relaxation. There was a lovely swing chair to enjoy the birdlife and river scenery. The hosts were cute and made me feel at home. a great stay!

Most amazing fabulous awesome spot we have ever stayed at. The views were to die for and the hospitality of Terri and Rick was first class. Everything was perfect! Bed was so comfortable, shower was amazing, continental breakfast items supplied.

I always return here because the staff kindly helped me with my elderly parents during my first stay. It suits me perfectly with wi-fi, free parking, air conditioning, and a flat-screen TV. I can't wait for my next trip!

This hotel offers nicely furnished units with great bathrooms at a good price, all set in a beautiful and peaceful location near the town center. Nicely furnished units, well-appointed bathrooms, tranquil and magnificent setting, close to the town center, good price.

This venue has great staff, modern and tidy units with spacious queen bedrooms and large windows, plus a wonderful selection of breakfast options.

The location near the bay was great, we had a wonderful stay and would definitely come back.

The staff here are friendly and always ready to assist, and the room is clean and equipped with smoke detectors.
